Many of you will already be using our standard virtual tours, but We would like to introduce to you our new premium tours which are now available to be used for the marketing of your holiday let. As the market leader in virtual tours for the last 10 years we have moved the technology forward a long way. Our original virtual tours were designed and run using Java. Java used to be packed as standard with Microsoft Windows meaning that people could view the tours without any further downloads. Java doesn't come with Windows anymore, although it's a very straight forward download. The original virtual tours were designed to load quickly when people were still using dial-up connections, and give the user instant access.
To the right is an example of our new premium virtual tours. The first thing you will notice is the size of the image, it's larger, higher resolution and all of the straight lines appear exactly as they should. Technology has moved forward considerably, and nearly every home now has a broadband internet connection. This means that content can be delivered to peoples PCs faster than ever before. This has enabled us to increase the size of the images used in the virtual tours, making the end result much larger, in fact these new tours are capable of being viewed full screen with a simple click of a button. Now potential guests can view entire living spaces and exteriors like never before. The Premium virtual tours run on quicktime and with quicktime being packed with any installation of Itunes (the largest music download service) most home and office computers will have this installed. If however, Quicktime is not installed, the user will be prompted to download it automatically.
