We can facilitate all of your transfer arrangements with private hire cars or coaches. There are 6 Links Trust golf courses the seventh is under construction, 3 of these The Old, The New and The Jubilee have championship credentials. The Dukes course is within 2 miles of the centre and The St. Andrews Bay Hotel hosts 2 courses The Torrance and The Devlin. Kingsbarns is about 12 miles from St. Andrews and is open April to October only. There are many excellent golf courses within a short drive of St. Andrews each offering different challenges to the visiting golfer. Details of the different courses can be found at Golf Assistant

Carnoustie is only 30 minutes drive over the Tay Bridge and Gleneagles complex is just over an hours drive. Rosemount GC at Blairgowrie GC is only 40 minutes drive. The many courses in Edinburgh are reachable in just over an hour with Muirfield GC, Gullane and North Berwick about 1.5 hours drive.

Depending upon the number in your party, your ability and fitness, and the distance you may wish to travel, we can make suitable suggestions and help arrange your golf timetable.

Practice Facilities
Within the garden of the property is a full size practice green with 6 different holes with practice chipping areas and a driving range. This facility is unique in that it is the only Tourgreens facility in Scotland. The garden is illuminated so that this facility can be used all year round irrespective of conditions.

We can arrange for private golf lessons with a PGA professional at the house during your stay. Eric Grandison also coaches in German.

There is a floodlight practice driving range and practice area at the Eden Clubhouse location of the Links Trust. Details of the opening times can be found on their website.

For the Non-golfer
St. Andrews offers more than just golf for the visitor. St. Andrews University forms a significant part of the historical part of the town and is one of the oldest Universities in Scotland. Student life and culture creates a youthful buzz to the atmosphere of the town ensuring that the bars and restaurants offer a wide variety of sustenance. St. Andrews Museums and tours offer a more cultural view of the town. There is a multiscreen cinema and a theatre playhouse.
